
Apple today announced an update to its all-in-one iMac. The new iMac comes in at the same starting price point as its predecessor $1,199 but sporting new features, including Intel quad-core processors, AMD Radeon HD graphics processors, Thunderbolt high-speed ports, and a FaceTime HD camera.
“Our customers love the iMac’s aluminum enclosure, gorgeous display and all-in-one design,” said Philip Schiller, Apple’s senior vice president of Worldwide Product Marketing in a statement released by Apple today. “With next generation quad-core processors, powerful new graphics, Thunderbolt technology and a FaceTime HD camera, we’ve made the world’s best desktop even better.”
